Hitch info

Hi,
Im new to the forums so i hope im in the right area to post in. I recently bought a 96 f-250 Power stroke so I could put a camper on it and go camping pulling my ATV trailer, so my situation is this, I am looking to buy a camper but if i get a 10 ft camper, can my 2 inch receiver get an extension long enough to pull my 14 foot echo ATV trailer or will i have to fork out the money and get a bigger hitch? anyone have a few ideas?

I wouldn't see why not but I have a 5th wheel RV so I'm not sure. How far would you have to extend it?

well i have a 2 inch receiver, i don't know if I can put a 24 inch extension on it or if they even make one to handle the pulling and tongue weight of the trailer.

Build a custom hitch that will. Make some braces and such. If a pulling truck and pull 40000 then you can surely make something strong enough to do what you need or someone can.
