transmission help!??!?!?!?!
hey guys i got a 351w with a c6 tranny and id like to go to overdrive transmission. would a aod be the best/easiest option? what would have to be done to make the swap?? are the aod's 4x4 or 2x4 specific or could i use any? thanks

You will need a 4x4 tranny for your 4x4 truck.

I wouldn't bother with an AOD. Nothing will outlast a C6.

Ever taught of a gear vendors OD unit?

The AOD would be a great swap into this.
A GOOD AOD that is.
They can take 1000hp with some talented hands.
