vacuum advance?

I have an 84 bronco 11. It has been getting worse and worse on power. Checked timing and it was right on the button. Revved the engine to check if timing was advancing while I had my light still hooked up and the mark on my damper didn't move a smidgen. Now this truck has no vacuum advance on the distributor; only about a dozen wires coming out of it. There must be a remote vacuum switch somewhere on the vehicle but don't know which one it is in the cluster of vacuum lines. I'm not sure how much the timing should advance and don't know where to find this vacuum switch. Could anyone assist me in any way?
Thanks in advance............. Dallas

There are a ton of vacuum connections on your 84 2.8 none of them go to the Distributer, there is an Ignition Module on your Distributer. (where all those wires end up). You should probably pull your computer codes to start with they will give you a starting point.
