This is how I bought the truck, but I saw a few on youtube and some of them have the bracket flipped up and the altnator is more even with the top pully. If this bracket is wrong it wouldn't suprise me. The previous owner was a serious "Rig master" I just want to make sure I re-install it correctly

 

Looks to me like it's upside down. The 'arm' portion should be over the top. That's the way it is on my '72. Mine also doesn't have that bend in it. Really good engine compartment pics on this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-treasure.html also show it opposite of how yours is.

 

Yea it looks like a different braket all together. I'm not sure my bracket will work like that.
