2006 SD fuel gage testing
I have a California F450 SD with healthy fuel sender reading 15 > 150 OHM
I need to explore cluster connector and gage.
Gage always reads empty, although when ignition is first turned on gage blipps to the middle of "E" and falls back down.
I found 2005 Workshop manual ... is 2006 similar ?

Is the cluster connector 220b accessed under dash
I've looked under hood & dash and disconnected and inspected every connector!, none look like workshop manual & have BK/OG & YE/WH wires ...
where is cluster connector?

workshop manual check#B4 ... says clear DTCs if voltage is present.
how to clear DTCs without OBDC tool ?
I've disconnected batteries for hour or so without change.
The strangest thing is the gage worked for a couple of minutes when I moved truck in order to inspect all wires
Then when ignition was turned on again ... back to "E" only blip.
It maby fuel pump module problem.
So I kinda doubt the gage is toast.
