I Have a 99 f350CC superduty Dually Diesel with the 6spd.
I keep having the running lights going out. (roof lights fender flares, tail lights, dash lights light switch ill. marker lights) it keeps blowing the fuse.... I brought it to the local ford shop (buncha yahoo's) and they cant pull their head out of their a$$. i have had it there over a week and they said yup it keeps blowing fuses... but we cant figure out why...... I dont know how or why they cannot seem to figure anything out... but they sure keep the windows clean there! mainly was wondering if anyone else has had this problem..... you put the fuse in.. lights all work for like 5 to even 30 minutes then, click and everything is out... so on that note i am lost. any ideas would be appreciated
My guess would be corrosion in one of the affected lighting fixtures. I'd remove all of the light bulbs and see if the problem remains. Hopefully not, then add the bulbs one or two at a time.
its the standard 20 amp fuse, ..i guess i can re go through it when i get it back. these guys dont even do a damn thing here. just dont get it.... thanks
