Vacuums and Voltages
Well passed emmisions the other day and was worried my 2000F150 5.4L V8 would not pass...Have had multiple issues to take care of previous to getting new tags. I've posted on some threads my findings/results. But here is my main question: After reading Vdc return to PCM previously, I do not read it anymore. Durring testing it was intermittent but now is completely gone, but the kicker is the DPFE,Vac.Sol,& EGR are functioning at approx. 3.5in-Hg. (verified w/vac. gauge in-line to EGR). Only under load (floored or released throttle) does it release to 0in-Hg. This all seems correct, but without the GND. return to the PCM, how is this possible? I was going to change the point connected to the PCM, but now wonder if I have to...Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated...
