oasis report

can somebody tell me how i can obtain a oasis report for a truck i want to go look at. i have heard of them but know nothing about them. thanks for any help.

Oasis report from a car dealer and carfax or Auto check anywhere. Dealers can usually get the carfax for free as well. I have a friend that works in a dealership and it helped alot when I was looking for my truck.

is the oasis the same as the carfax. so if the truck is at a kia dealer can they get it for me.

The OASIS system belongs to Ford...A Kia dealer won't be able to help you there.

Your best bet is to get the vin# from the truck, take it to a Ford dealer, sweet talk them a little bit and see if they'll do you the favor of giving you the information.

Oasis report is a report of all the warranty work that was completed on teh truck. The CARFAX or other like it, will give you a report of any time the truck was in a shop and was reported. Etc. emissions, shops that report repairs (fender benders, other repairs). The two of them work nicely to see what has been done to the truck and also a good idea of other it was taken care of.
