Computer Programmer
Just wondering if anybody has any info or know much about the computer programmers. I have a 2002 Excursion with the V-10. I have looked at the Hypertech, Edge, Bullydog. Is there any benefit to one or the other. Do they really help out? Thanks for the feedback.

Go to the V10 forum. There is a sticky for 5Star. I bought one 2 weeks ago. I have the 87 Tow tune loaded. Mike takes the gearing, tire size, headers, "Y" pipe, etc. into account. In fact I bought my Y pipe from him.
So far I love it. I haven't done a long tow yet but I did do a 15 mile loop with surface streets and a short run up the I15 near Rancho Cucamona, CA. Tranny shifted much better and at the correct times. It also held in gear much better. I haven't towed since I put the Y pipe on but the differnce with the Y pipe was noticable without the trailer.
In the v10 forum search for "Sad v10 owner" to see why I bought a tuner. Here is a link to Mike's tunes on a 99 v10.
