Sounds like Saturday June 11th it is. Put it on your calender. I'll go down this week to reserve a covered area for us.

I have us a place rented. The covered tables closest to the rides. No horse shoe pit though. I went ahead and locked in the time from 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM. Figured some folks might want to come out early but others had little ones that take naps. Plan on food between 3:00 and 5:00. We have electric at the tables if folks need to plug something in.

I called yesterday for my loan payoff for May's payment. Appears with my regular double payment I'm with in $40. Close enough that will be my last payment. Happy

My double payment the last few years has been $1500. Course I still need to pay myself (save) so I can pay insurance and taxes. Bank was collecting $140 a month for that. I guess I should be able to afford a new truck payment. First I need to finish the remodel on the house. And new carpet. Course if there is another housing dip this summer I might be tempted to get a newer house (mine was build in the 1940's). With a garage or two like Ed's.

I'll try my best to take that weekend off but its kinda chancy considering that its a summer weekend when everyone and their mother is moving.

Either way congrats on being a little more debt free.

Also if you are looking to do something positive with the extra money every month there is always the "Help Jared buy a smaller vehicle" Fund!

Part of the first month of no house payment will be spent on the party. Might put the new car off till this time next year.

Jared, you make it down I'll have a smaller vehicle for you.
