Just thought I would introduce myself. I just recently picked up a 56 F-100. Still in primer and needing some work, but an Effie none the less. Looking forward to chatting with people here and finding out who else is in the area.
I see you joined in 2005. Just siting in the shadows. Well we see you now. Time to come out and post some pics in your gallery.
We try to get to gether at times for bull sessions and show our trucks. Keep looking here in the forum and join the chitchat. Not all of us bite you know.
Welcome, always nice to have another Effie aboard. I hope get to see it soon this summer and we can exchange some parts if you need any or have spares. I`ve got afew Effie`s here.
I`m hoping my 56 M100 will be finally painted and maybe even driving by this summer.

Are you right in Stoon? I am on an acreage west of the city. I did some dismantling last night. Took the front fenders off to have a good look at the cowl areas. Looks like I am ordering a little sheet metal.
I`m on a farm 10 minutes east of Saskatoon, on pavement just off the Yorkton highway. That`s one reason why I`m over run with old Ford/Mercury tin!
I`m thinking off buying more parts from the Old Car Centre in BC, their prices seem competitive and they have free shipping on part orders over $75. A re pop 53-6 front fender was $500 last year delivered here.
Thanks for all the welcomes..Can't wait to talk shop...I am going to be ordering a bunch of parts this week. I am not planning a full dissassembly right now. Just a few things here and there. I want to do a little cruising this summer. Paint maybe next winter.
