I am wondering can you check the fuel pressure at the shrader valve on the fuel bowl, with a tire gauge?

Yes... just don't expect the gauge to perform as designed after being filled with diesel fuel. tire gauge is how alot around here check fp, be sure that the gauge you use can read 60- 70psi.

I had 10 psi at the fpr and when I would give some pedal it would fall flat on its face. Did a lot of troubleshooting and even more hoping but it turned out to be the fuel pump. Got that fixed, shimmed the fpr, and now have like 65ish psi.

Totally dude. Or a line restriction. I've gotta spend every extra cent right now on
fuel.
