trans ?

i have an 89 f140 4x4 and im tring to figure out what trans i have the truck was rebuilt back in 2003 from a previous owner what do i need to look for to figure it out?

Is standard, it would be the only M5OD (5 speed) Mazda tranny.


Auto, could be 3 different.

Look on your dash and you'll be able to tell.

P R N D 2 1 = C6

P R N (D) 2 1 = E4OD (will have an overdrive button on the dash, right side of steering column)

P R N (D) D 1 = AOD

ok so i have an aod can i swap with a c6 and if so is it worth it i have 7 inches of lift and sitting on 35's i want something that can handle the wear and tear on and off road

Yup, you can, but you'll have to find a 4x4 C6 that came off a small block. (300-6cyl, 302 or 351 V8's.)
