Ok guys I was driving yesterday and my ABS light came on. Wasnt braking or anything crazy, nothing changed as far as the truck an how it runs/drives/barkes. The only thing I have noticed is a few weeks ago I started to hear/feel a kind of "click" noise coming from the front left wheel area when under braking, almost like my u-bolts where loose, but I checked everything and all is tight and secure.
I went and had it scanned today and there was no codes stored at all.
My question is should I be concerned? Is this a common problem with our trucks? Or a common part that goes bad that causes the ABS light to go on?
Watch your speedometer close. Does it kind of falter until you hit about 30mph then start working right? If so replace the VSS, (Vehical speed sensor) on the top of the rear differential.
