F-250 Chassis Question. . .
Hello All,
I deliberated on which exact forum in which to place this post, so if I'm in the "wrong", please move this post. . .
I am wanting to turn a '90 F-250HD 2wd into a 4x4. I found an '84 F-250 4x4, and I would like to know what ALL of the SPECIFIC differences are between (not so much the obvious differences between 2 & 4wd, but rather the differences due to the model year gap of 6 years):
1) The driveline (ie. Sterling vs. Dana rears?, ect.)?
2) The suspension?
3) The frame itself?
Would I be better off just swapping the entire rolling chassis, or just the 4wd stuff? I have no emissions issues to worry about, and I will be building the truck from the ground up anyway, so please don't be sparing with you opinions on this one. . .

F-250 Chassis Question. . .
The '84 t-case shifter comes thru the floorpan adapter and the '90 is supposed to come thru the floorpan beside your footwell, but that's no big deal since you're using all the '84 parts. The only problem I can think of is if there's a significant difference in the lengths of the 2 transmissions or wheelbases - then you'd have to mess with driveshafts. I think everything else should bolt in with no problem.
