Exclamation ranger fuel pump

Price: $65
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): FCX
Item Condition: IA
Shipping Information: Item can be shipped
Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

I have a brand new ..unused inline fuel pump for a 86' ranger. Should work fine with any 2.9v6 or 2.3 4 cyl. from 1986-1989. Probably would work for more that that

this thing was $110. new....willing to sell it for $65. plus shipping.
the price can be haggled over a bit....another words make offer.

reason; sold truck before I could get it installed, & I came across a good deal on a f150.

Okay thanks. I thought so. I have never had to replace that one. About half a dozen of the in tank ones.

In my life time of owning my own repair shops I don't ever remember that pump going bad.

Yeah they do....maybe here where alcohol blended fuels are more prevalent. Can't say about up North. Remember this system was designed back before alcohol blended fuels were considered for mainstream USA...some of those components didn't play well with that when the "blend" did hit.

Maybe more so, that the internal check valve goes bad and one needs to have long crank times to start or multiple key "ON & OFF" cycles to re-prime fuel that has bled down...more noticeable on long sits between starts.

If everything else is good...spark, fuel & compression...if these old 2.9's...weren't running within 4sec...something is up

the newer replacement parts generally are designed to handle the "Blend"
