Part or suggestion needed!
The carb is torn apart for a rebuild and I am missing the idle mixture adjustment screw that is down in the plate of the carb.
Rebuild kits do not have them, Napa does not carry it, Ford does not have it, so I called Holley. They said their custom shop might be able to get one since the Ford Holley was custom made different than the usual Holley.
A few junk yards in the area do not have any Fords that age! With the price of metal going up a few weeks back, many have crushed them and sold them.
Anyway not sure what to do to get my hands on a screw.
Perhaps aftermarket carb or a rebuilt carb swap might be in order here, what suggestions would be good for this truck. Not a daily driver and not for racing either! This is an "antique" here in ME and I want to keep it looking and running more stock than modified!

best bet would be finding a local speed (carburetor) shop and seeing if they can get you the part, I wouldn't waste money on an aftermarket carb... but that is just me.
This screw is down in the plate and not up in the side of the "normal" Holley.
The shop said they knew a local Ford guy who said he might have a few of those carbs laying in his garage and they could come look for that screw in his parts. I have my fingers crossed that the shop found this screw tonight, or I might be waiting to get one from Holley.
