Adding a second alternater
Is it possible to a second alternater? if so is it worth it with the 2 batteries. Lately I was having starting issues and the batteries would die after 2 minutes of cranking...

Yes it is possible. No, it's not worth it. You would need the wiring harness and PCM from an ambulance or something similar to take advantage of the additional charging.
It would be better to correct the hard starting issue. What are your symptoms exactly?
