Who thought keys were a luxury??

Walmart here doesnt do auto chip keys-we have no Pepboys or Home depot.
I may have to return it.When my spouse gets home Im gonna have them try to program it.If no luck its going back to Ebay seller to replace.I hear a lot of their Ebay keys are bad.

**update**
Ebay seller says he may not give me refund or key.He asked for my VIN# and photos of first 2 keys.
Waiting to hear what he says possibly tomorow.

Went to dealership here

I ended up going to Ford dealership and paying $80 to get key #2 so I can program my keys.Bought 2 cut keys for $25@(not programmed) from them (#3 & #4) and took them home to program them.Only 1 key from Ford worked! They(Ford guys) said the aftermarket keys are junk and can fry your computer.Well only 1 of their keys worked so I think they are buying the same junk keys and reselling them. The keys they use are Rotunda brand.Ive seen them on ebay. Well now I got 3 keys.Better then just one.

Today Im trying to break the code on my drivers door outter keypad.
Not fun!
Yes Im using the 3000+ numbers sequence.I have lousy eyesight so its taking forever.

There's a label on the module that controls the keypad which has the 5 digit master code. Sure is quicker than going through 3000+ codes. Even if you find a code that worked, it may only be a programed code and not the master code.

I think I found the code installed

Thank-You!
Well I actually found a code that worked. The drivers door has a bad actuator but I could hear a loud clunk like its trying to pop up the door lock.It did open once.I tried several sequences by process of eliminating 1 number at a time and get the same number.Where is the keypad module located. In the door or under the hood? We are not giving up here!

It should be under the front dashboard in the center. There were write ups on where to find it.

Hay I figured it out! Mine is a 6 digit code. I say this because 6 digits made all the other doors unlock too.I dont know if its the personal or master code but at this point I dont care! I already have 90 mins into it.Maybe Ill try the rest of the sequence tomorow. Thanks to all who helped!

Got some suggestions to double check code after 20 min intervals and Im getting same results. When I punch in 5th digit it clicks lightly but no doors unlock. When I ad the 6th digit the passenger door clunks louder and all the doors are unlocked. You know it just hit me! I have a bad actuator in the drivers door. The 1st click is to unlock the drivers door and the second click when I hit the same digit(in the middle of keypad) opens all the doors! Its a co-incidence that the last digit is the same! It may in fact just be a 5 digit code.YAY!

We do it German Style here....
Here are guys who takes the chip out of the PATS Key and place it directly
into the ignition lock.
The advantage is that you wont need ever again a PATS Key for starting.
If anybody is interested in this technic I will contact them and do
a write up here.

The disadvantage in doing this is all you would need to steal the Ex is a large screwdriver and break the lock cylinder and it'll start.

But isn't that basically the same as an aftermarket remote start system, they use a key internally someplace to bypass the PATS so it will remote start.

It is a 5 digit code.
Then before opening your door press 3 to unlock all doors. Handy for sure.

It is a 5 digit code afterall

Yep you are right. It is a 5 digit code. The fifth digit on my code is 3.I thought the quiet click was that I didnt press it hard enough so I pressed 3 again.Thats when all the doors opened.I am thinking this is the master code since it was off the sequence sheet.I am going to try and create a personal code tomorow and see if it works. If it does then I know its the master code.
My hubby is replacing the drivers door lock actuator tomorow and Ill try it again when hes done.
Thanks again everyone!

Actually right.......but you could place somewhere a hidden switch to break
the fuelpump circuit. Again, here in Germany you wont steel an EX. You could rather steel an army tank or a pink panther out of a zoo.

Sounds reasonable.Im not familar with those remote start systems, but I think
this is the way they have to go.

It is already simple enough to go through the list of codes I don't want to add another code.
