I've been thinking about adding shocks to my TT 26ft Springdale. Thought it would soften the ride. I have already installed the Dexter EZ-Flex system with the wet bolts for greasing. That helped the ride a lot. Just wondering how some shocks would do.
I didn't have to add shocks, but they sure make a lot of difference between none and having them. My last 5er didn't have them and my newest does (2007 Arctic Fox). Things inside stay put a lot better in this trailer!
That is what I'm hoping for. Thanks. Now just need to find a shock kit to add.
So, let me ask you this. Would one set be fine? And if 2 sets would be the way to go, which direction should they angle \ / or / / Trailer going right to left for example. (Front of trailer on left)
Thanks for that link. I should have known He had done this. I saw His install of the Dexter system, and that is what convinced me to add it to my trailer. I'll have to go back over to RVNET and see what He thinks of just adding one set to the rear axel.
Yeah...John does a great job of photo documentation and if you have a question...send him a PM...he is awesome about answering people and helping out...a great person on the forums for sure...he is on FTE too...I think he goes by FordCamping here but he rarely stops over here and you will be better finding him on RV.net...
