my 02 exp has 80,000 miles, and sat unused for over a year. i have been driving it for about 6 months, no problems except the transmission slipped twice going down the highway
i think im going to get the transmission flushed, t-case fluid changed, oil changed. i already changed the air filter
any other suggestions? get anything else changed? suggestions on where to get the stuff changed, what to get replaced with? avg prices it should cost?
also ive been getting around 10-11 mpg is this normal? will changing the fluids help at all? anything i can do to help at all besides driving habits?
That might solve the issue because just sitting there moisture can accumulate inside the tranny case. Driving it will eventually evaporate the moisture out of there, but if you're due for a fluid change anyway...then why wait!
