rear pipe bumper
I'm making a rear bumper for my truck. It's 4 1/2"pipe -3/8 thick, should i make it as wide as the body is or a little narrower ?. I will be welding the receiver hitch to it and a lit licence plate holder . The ends will be caped and i am going to tap out a hole for a air chuck as i will be using it for compressed air storage.
Any thoughts
I used the stock bumper mounting plates cut to fit the pipe
Should i make some extra supports to the frame ?.
