Starter issues any ideas?please help
I just had motor install in my 98 f150 4.6.when i turn the key i get nothing i replaced the solenoid and starter still no luck.I am not getting any power to the tan/red wire connected to solenoid when i turn key over. Also if i jump the solenoid it starts for like 2 seconds and stalls right away. Could it have something to do with anti theft or starter interupt relay.I am not getting power to either side of fuses on number 20,21,26,27 and 28. I am so lost i bought truck in december this is 2nd motor i had installed not it wont crank please help me.

Here's the schematic. If you think there is a problem with the anti-theft, I would find that relay, unplug it and jump it out to eliminate that to see if that's the problem.

If you jump the relay out, and it starts but only runs 2 sec like before, I bet there is something else with the anti-theft that is locking the ignition out.
