lift kit

I've been tossing the idea around of getting a lift, and i'm not sure what kind to get. mine is a 94 f350 with leaf springs all the way around, so what would be the difference between a suspension and a body lift?

a body lift lifts your cab off the frame and suspension lift is all in the suspension either through the springs, blocks or shackles. Dont do the body IMO, its cheap and tacky. How big do you wanna go?

i really just want enough to fit 35's and still have clearance to allow for flexing over rocks, so maybe 4-6? since i have leaf springs, what would a suspension lift replace/change?

There are a few guys here running 35's on F-350s without any lift at all. In my opinion a reverse shackle kit or an add a leaf would be a better idea. You're going to have a lot better lift with a suspension lift of some sort.

i think my front leafs just sag too much, so the 35's would rub when i turn, not to mention they wouldn't allow for any flexing off road. right now i'm running 33's and there's maybe 3" between the tires and the wheel wells on flat ground. the back end would probably clear them, but the front sits a good 4-6" lower.

If it were me, once again, I would opt for a RSK. It will give you the front end lift you need and give you a better ride than you currently have. And they aren't that pricey either.

Add a leaf up front will make it ride like crap. And by crap I mean, having the axle welded to the frame would be a smoother ride.

X2 or 3 whatever on the RSK My 96 350 has the add-a-leaf in the front and it rides down right violent..
I am soon to do the RSK to ease this thing off a little before it shakes itself and me apart

I had 35's on my truck before I added the RSK, and only had to shim the front bumper a few inches for clearance. After adding the RSK, I reduced the shim to only about 1". The ride is marginally better, and the truck sits level.

i have an add-a-leaf up front on mine and it doesnt ride like a rock. i also have a 2.5" spring pack up front supposed to make them ride rough but its not bad. i really cant tell its much different than stock.
