hot start trouble
new to this forum, hope to get a bit of help. 91 f150 5.0 auto. 120k, only driven 800 miles a year to tow a trailer. starts/runs great first start of the day but only if i floor it when warm. also will not stay running until after about 5-7 minutes of fethering the peddle at about 1500 rpm. sometimes it stalls after this when i put it in gear and i have to do it over again. once i get going it runs great again. i did run this truck without a thermostat for a couple of summers and i think this trouble may be self inflicted. what did i do to my truck? any and all help would be apreciated. also no check engine lite.
