True Mercury 255, impeccable low mileage engine before being built by Morrison Machine in Glendale. Has had only the minor amount of bore and polish done just to fit new pistons, rings, bearings and align bore, very tight block. Internals are all of the highest quality Isky, Manley, Johnson, Egge you know, the good stuff. All the minor improvements done to extend life and improve reliabilty, such as one piece seals, PVC and oil flow flow work.
Rotating assembly was balanced with freshly trued and lightened steel flywheel. Has an early style 2 bolt timing cover, new fully polished Cyclone center dump heads with a very rare fully polished Almquist intake and 2 rebuilt and polished 94's. The T-5 is adapted to the original hoghead with the pedal assembly mounted off it like the model A, makes for much easier install.
This engine is new and has not been seen by anyone yet, so those of you building the traditonal rod while trying to keep the cool stuff away from your buddies eyes... this is it.
Serious buyers only please, can furnish pic's upon request. Possibly be willing to deliver somewhere between CA and AZ. Thank you.

Honestly as cool as it is and it is cool, for that kind of money I hope you are getting a big kiss with it. I would much rather do my own flathead my way than buy somebody elses way.

But that is just me....
