Trans is dying
The slushbox in my 5.4 Excursion is slowly dying. It started a week or so back by taking its time to 1/2 upshift. I added a bottle of Lucas and thought I got it but it is getting worse. Now 2nd is out and the o/d light flashes. I think its time. Has anyone had any experience with any online trans rebuilders or does anyone have or know where there is a good trans? Im looking for the least expense and the best solution.

Wow, how did I miss this thread, sorry Beast. The guy I use here locally does a great job and isn't too outrageous. If you are interested, pm me and I will send his info. Or you can go to a boneyard, get one and hope for the best.
