WTH
My 2003 7.3 has no power and blows smoke out of the oil filler tube like a train. it starts fine, no clanks or bangs but the engine shakes like it has a miss fire. is it blown? would a rebuild fix it? i dont have the money to put a ford reman in it.

Pull the valve covers off and do an inspection of the rockers, injectors, and the like. Make sure everything is tight. I have heard that you can start these motors without having oil spray all over with the covers off, maybe you can see where the smoke is coming from then.
