After market Fog lights

So I have a 2000 F350 XLT. There is stock fog light on there... however I noticed that if you turn the light switch on and pull out (like you would in a truck with foglights built in) it comes out... does this mean that I can wire some lights into this switch, if so does anyone have a wiring diagram for it?

I know that i can just wire in a little switch.... that is what i will do if it doesnt work this way.. but wouldnt it be soo much cleaner looking if I wired them in stock.

Subscribing.... Same thing here. I even have a set of factory lights that I was going to mount but waiting to find out if I have to replace the switch first.

In an attempt to directly answer this question some years ago, I disassembled the switch in my 2000.

The answer is "nope". There is NO correlation between the switch pulling out (which does ABSOLUTELY nothing internally) and switching for fog lights.

Woulda' been neat, but it ainna' gonna' happen!
