Help! Plow guy stuck!

Started my truck this morning to go plowing. WTS light came on as usual, started and ran fine. While gathering tools, the truck surged up and down a bit then stalled. When I went to restart, no WTS light and it just cranked like crazy but wont catch. I changed the fuel filter just in case but the strange thing is the WTS light not coming on at all. All lights bright and all gauges normal. Batt gauge goes way down with the key on so i know the GP's are heating. Gotta figure this out quick! I was thinking water in the fuel but why would that make the WTS light not come on? Got fuel over 100 miles ago.

Check fuese #22 under the hood. The fuel heater shorts out and blows the fuse which also powers the pcm. If the fuse is blown you will need to unplug the fuel bowl heater before replacing fuse or you will keep blowing fuses.

I hope so. I've been there before. Wake up at 3am to go plow and have a truck or plow problem. You can't wait it needs to get fixed right away otherwise you have very unhappy customers

Unplug the heater then replace the fuse (this will let you run. #22 fuse powers the PCM. You will know you have power to the PCM b/c the WTS will light). Leave it unplugged until you are ready to address the heater.
I have heard you can fix the heater w/JBwield.
