I am on the Kentucky state version of this and it's great. I get almost no calls. I have nothing against telemarketers, they are simply trying to make a living. I simply choose to not receive calls, partly because I work a lot of second shift and HATE being awakened.

According to the news only political support calls are exempt from the list which is the pits cause they can be just as bad as telemarketers.

The Colorado No-Call List is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I don't harass telemarketers, but now they don't harass me, either, so it's cool.
I did get a call from a survey company the other night. I just hung up on him...I should have asked why they called, but it never occured to me to do so. Oh well...

I still get them calls even though I'm on the MN list. As long as they don't make the sale on the phone they are not violating the MN law. So from what I've learned here at FTE, I just start asking randomly dumb questions until they get pissed and hang up. Its kinda fun to waste their minutes on me when they could be calling a maybe real customer.

I'll ask the first thought that comes to my mind.

What color is your hair?
Did you finish high school?
Do you have kids?
....................(And so on)

That might work good if its a girl calling. Beleive it or not I just thought them up. I'm going to try it next time.

# 3..I flirt and hit on the caller, tell them how good lookin they sound, how I could move in with them..........ect.....

# 4..act as I'm fighting with my wife at the time they called......

# 5..at as if "their" a 1-900-sex numbers.......that pretty funny most of the time

the list goes on and on,depends what mood I'm In.......

Sign me up!!!!!!!!

Nothing ticks me off more than having somebody who can't even pronounce my name bother me during dinner for one of their "special offers". Most of the time I just hang up. Sometimes I'll say uh-huh a few times to get them going, then quietly set the phone down. It's amazing how long some of them continue to blab on and on when nobody's listening to them.

Do not be stupid would be better than do not call. Let me explain.

They bother me as much as the rest of you, Most days I think they should be Keel Hauled. Half of the time we don't even answer our own phone because we know it's them.

The fact of the matter is, this is a supply & demand system. If idiots were not talking to them, spending money with them, they would go out of business.

No one would rent a building, buy phones and have them put in, hire people and train them to bother you unless they were getting a return on investment.

I wish we had a no-call list even though it means more govenrment.
