Coolant flush

For a coolant flush on a 2002 F250 7.3 PSD, is it OK to use well water for the flush as long as I fill the system with distilled water.

Thanks, Harley

Also have tried the Flash stuff in a bucket with hot water on the car, and it cleaned brilliantly. Then used the autodry filtered water and spotless shine!

It's a shame that a new user comes here asking a simple question and gets these kind of answers.

Harley, you should be fine as far as the flushing goes. But I would definitely make sure you refill with distilled. The only other problem with well water, depending upon your location, is that it often has high concentrations of lime. As long as you don't use it for refill, you should be okay.

Sure can. I always like to use distilled water for the final flush, and then when filling it back up with coolant. You can get the distilled water by the gallon at the local grocery store for less then a dollar per gallon.
