good day everyone i have being in the 73/79 truck forum for years but bought my 79 bronco last month from a fellow in oliver b.c. canada,got it shipped to edmonton alberta,picked it up from there and brought it back to my home town where i am currantly working on it to get a bunch of issues fixed and am new to the 4x4 world as all my other trucks [79f350 s/c,79 f350 scs,78 f250 reg cab 501 stroker,79 granda,79 f150] are all 2wd with 460 or 302 power so i hope you dont mind me asking questions
it is an xlt with 400 auto but has being sitting for 3 years and i am finding out that is not such a good thing and have had to re&re the fuel tank/pump ect to clean the silt from the system,re&re the front hubs due to dry u-joints as are a few in the rest of the drivetrain,replace the trans nutral safty switch [started in any gear] bad grounds,ect ect ect and to top it off the po amature work that i have to fix! more of a project every day but being 100% rust free i think it is worth saving cheers!

Yay! Another Bronco newbie. Today is the first sunrise with my new truck in the yard. I have the same issues you have with the po. Seems he broke more stuff than fixed.

I'm heading out to my truck right now to start taking inventory. I want to get interior electrical and switches done first to get them out of the way. For all I know, that may solve some of the other bigger issues. We'll see...
