speaker pop
Got to work this morning after running the defroster on high, turned the key off and the speakers popped, like a static discharge or a high-power amp powering up. I turned the key back on and off several times and it still happened. Started it up to come home and everything was normal. Got home after running the defroster on high all the way and the problem happened again.
After the truck cab cooled off the problem went away again???? It almost seems like the radio was getting too hot. I did a search and only one thread had the word speaker.

My 07 does the same thing. Sometimes it will do it everytime I shut the truck off and other times it can be months in between it doing it.
Being in the desert I only use the defrost a few times a year so I dont think its related.
Do you happen to have the factory Ford power code alarm with remote start?
I have the factory radio with the 6 disk changer MP3 aux input stock speakers.
