Can I stick with the factory exhaust and still get good sound from my 360 or is it absolutly nessecary to have headers to get the rumble I want.I just camed it a bit but the truck wont be raced so performance drops dont cocern me.

In my opinion, headers just make more noise. And not the kind most people like. If you don't need the flow improvements, use the stock type exhasut manifolds. They are much easier to seal and you can get the sound you want with the right combination of plumbing and mufflers.

I had stock exhaust manifolds, and custom 2 1/2" exhaust. Nice dual chamber, fully welded mufflers. It sounded pretty nice when my exhaust manifolds weren't leaking. Since then I have swaped in a set of headers. I like the sound of them better than the manifolds.
