i have a 90' f150 lariat, short bed and regular cab, off white colored
im thinking about putting a lift on it and 35" bajas but i want to know if that would look stupid on a small truck like that
what do you guys think i should do, should i just save for a bigger truck or bronco?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 31-Dec-02 AT 03:53 PM (EST)]No Short beds rule. Lifted it will look cool Plus you have a better turning radius in the woods.
...and the crowd chants "Lift-Lift-Lift-Lift!" Reg Cab Short Boxes loook AWESOME when lifted. I have a lil' 3" lift and some 33s but maybe a 5 or 6 and some 35s would look tight. Make sure you buy a quality suspension lift if you are going to use it to play often. Have heard good things about superlift, fabtech and skyjacker. Post in the suspension forum and offroad forum... a plethora of knowledge there.

first off you need to ask your self are you doing the lift for looks or are you planing to play ruff ? short beds look cool lifted but a short bed lifted will be more top heavy then a long bed .questions to ask your self . 1 do you plan on hiway use a lot or mudin , hill climing ,rock crlin ,trip to the mt.s ? 2 is your truck a every day driver if so will fuel mileige be a factor ? 3 have you thout about the part of the lift no one thinks about changein the front and rear gears to mach your trans and speedo?
Well the gear change issue is debateable. depending on what motor you have, you may need the extra pep of higher gears with 35" tires. I didn't change mine right away...and the truck sucked to drive. no pick up off the line...and towing sucked.
