[updated:LAST EDITED ON 31-Dec-02 AT 03:53 PM (EST)]No Short beds rule. Lifted it will look cool Plus you have a better turning radius in the woods.

...and the crowd chants "Lift-Lift-Lift-Lift!" Reg Cab Short Boxes loook AWESOME when lifted. I have a lil' 3" lift and some 33s but maybe a 5 or 6 and some 35s would look tight. Make sure you buy a quality suspension lift if you are going to use it to play often. Have heard good things about superlift, fabtech and skyjacker. Post in the suspension forum and offroad forum... a plethora of knowledge there.

opinion question

short boxes looke very good lifted but id go with the suspension lift
body lifts tend to look cheap and a little tacky in my opinion

a gear change with 35 inch tires is not necessaryunless your using the truck to tow heavy laods

your gas milage will still suck

but its gonna look really sharp

Well the gear change issue is debateable. depending on what motor you have, you may need the extra pep of higher gears with 35" tires. I didn't change mine right away...and the truck sucked to drive. no pick up off the line...and towing sucked.
