Well Jason dropped me off about an hour ago and he is on his way back to North Jersey. The trip was an absolute blast. We had a great ride out and back. Thursday we spent the day at the shop, I have to say watching your transmission being built and Brian and Jeremy explaining what went wrong and what was done to correct it is pretty amazing.
And Jason...... for someone who has never met me a day in his life offer to take me there. Words cannot explain how greatful I am for that!!!! I just wanted to thank you one more time for hauling my truck 2400+ miles round trip.
If it wasn't for this site I would probably had gotten a chain store transmission. This truely shows the meaning of the Brotherhood and what makes this site so special!!!!!
Thanks
BTW.... Holy Smokes it feels like a totally different truck and I mean WOW!!!!!!
Good to hear everything went well. It is nice that so many people on this site are willing to help each other out, definitely makes this site first class all the way!
WOW! That sure was fast. Glad everything went OK. It's quite fascinating at the lengths we go to to get our rigs right.
I'll be heading up north to Midwest Transmissions in Minnesota within the next few weeks to pick up a beefed up ZF6, Clutch/Pressure Plate, Flywheel, and Pilot Bearing from Dan. Spoke with him on the phone this week and I am getting excited. Instead of paying shipping of the tranny and shipping of the core back, the wife and I decided to take a mini-vacation and haul the core north and the goodies back south.
