I have a 1991 F150 4x4 300ci E4OD with the borg-warner tc. I went to pull a buddy out of the mud last night and put it in low range 4x4 like normal and everything was fine, then i tried to take it out of 4x4 and i noticed the shifter had broke, which had happened to me when i first bought the truck. just replaced the two bolts and i was on my way. but this time i was stuck in the mudhole and just tried to pull the linkage foreward like i had done before, but it would not budge for the life of me. i even sprayed PB on the arm where it meets the tc and tried to use a comealong to move it and it did nothing. tried to drive it home in 4x4 lo (about 10 miles) and it would not shift into second and kept slipping out of gear, so a buddy had to tow me. any suggestions on what the problem might be? thanks, Josh
