So got my Gauges in and just seeing where I stand as far as temps. Temps are taken driving at 70 MPH driving for 30 minutes. Oil 225-230, trans 120, fuel 70, pryo 500-600. Also the pryo is in the down pipe 6" after the Turbo what is the Max temps I should watch out for so I don't do any damage.
Post turbo EGT monitoring will be different than just about all of us. It's more common to mount the pyro on the up-pipe on the driver's side before the exhaust hits the turbo (Pre-turbo). Your temps will be lower when comparing them. Just an FYI

Your oil temp should be about 10* hotter than water temp, mine usually runs 5* to 7* hotter. And where you have your pyro keep your max egts to 1100*. Hope that helps a little.
I have a pre turbo egt probe and at 70 mpg my egts are usually around 600-700, I read a forum some where here that explained what you shoud see pre and post turbo egt, i cannot find it. From what your egts are and what mine are there seems to be between 100-200* difference at 70 mph
The best reason to have your EGT probe pre-turbo is to watch the temps at their earliest point.....it's not the turbo you're protecting per se, it's the PISTONS!
The pyro really need to be pre turbo.I ran mine post for a while and moved it to pre and have seen 300-400 deg difference..i also believe you can buy a post turbo pyro and it will go to yellow (caution) at 900 f.... all else sounds fine to me
