the ball joints are the weakest point on those trucks (IMHO) and there is no such thing as a "good ball joint" for that truck. Carquest makes a balljoint that has 10 degrees more movement compared to stock which helps but it's only available for 4x4 trucks.
You guys are going about this the wrong way. I say go for it, lets see what its got. It doesn't cost us a dime if you destroy your truck in the name of science. Let her rip. Keep us posted so we all will know what not to do.

For my year ranger they come with the dana 25 or 35 i have the bigger axle the 35 even though its the same size as my pops half ton axles, And yeah iv fully flex with out cracking the glass and havent ever had my axles fit the frame even thought the truck gone air born more then once, I was mainly wanting to know what spots do i need to worry about when i do that
