Ford Recall Suspended

Ford Recall Suspended
I received "THE" recall notice in the mail a few weeks ago regarding the circuit board that may catch on fire.
Well I took it into the dealership last weekend and waited around for 2 hours while they checked it out. They came out and told me after reviewing the recall, ford has suspended the recall for now.
Does anyone know why Ford suspended it?

If suspended mean you still have to take it in for the fix.. it means they ran out of parts.
If suspended mean they canceled the recall (because they concluded the issue do not pertain to your vehicle) that is another matter.

I do not have to go back (yet) as my dealer did not have to order any parts in.
So, I am curious to know why Ford may have suspended the recall.
