Finally, Been in the BS since oct 10. Now, what goes on first. The valance or the grill.Did'nt take notes or pics and cant rermember that far back. Where can I get wimbolton white in a rattle can?
do you have a 65-66 grill? the valance and the grill bolt together first. just the 2 inner bolts that are on the bottom. all the others go in after you set it in place. i think you use short bolts.
I have a 65 grill. I was the first time I took It off. It didnt come off like a "modern" grill. Seem to remember I had to remove the valence first. I just dont remember. I still havent decided if I am gonna ahve it chromed or use that chrome paint by alsa. Real chrome is my favorite color. Just might be over the top for the truck. I asked 2 painters that used the alsa paint about it. They said even though it is a good product it still isnt the same look. Well that might be the key to get a steel grill to look like anodized aluminum.
Thanks for that link for the paint. I thought it would be hard to find it. I was at the ford dealer yesterday and they could'nt help me.
