Help with 400

I just bought a old ratrod with a mid 70's 400 in it. I wanted to do a tune up and I have found that I can not find any info on the timing, points gap, or the spark plug gap. Everything refers to the engine decal that I dont have. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Shawn

Any mods done to it? ie: straight up timing chain, pistons. intake etc. All those things will affect how the engine will run.

If the motor is all stock then the plug gap should be about .35, the timing at 8-10* BTDC and the points should be gapped at (if I remember right) about .017".

Thanks for the info.
It is stock on the inside. Dominator dual plain intake, Edelbrock 1406 600 carb, and straight zoomie style headers. Stock ignition. It starts and runs good. It has a hesitation off take off, if half throttle or more. I called edelbrock and got the recommended set up for the carb. Just wanted to check the timing and put new cap, rotor, and points, along with plugs.
Thanks,
Shawn
