My nephew was Air Force, this first Iraq tour he spent the entire time there installing armor on Army vehicles at Valad which is probably spelled wrong.
Second tour, stationed in Kuwait, spent his entire tour in a Humvee escorting supply convoys.
Then he went to Afghanistan, this time he was going house to house with a 50 cal..
So three tours, all attached to an Army unit in some various capacity.
Guess things must be different now than they were back years ago.

Hey so how does shipping to an APO address work? Do you have to have customs forms declaring everything you're shipping? Just wondering, never done it before.
