4wd disengaging
My trucks 4wd system started disengaging itself for some reason. I would have to put it in park, move the dial to 2wd and put it back in 4wd to make it re-engage. Lately it has completely quit working. When i move it to 4wd it makes a sound like it is enaging, but the front wheels just wont pull. On another site someone suggested that my problem could be the auto locking hubs. There isnt anywhere around here to have something like that checked out, so if that is my problem how would i know. Also, when looking around on the internet for new hubs, I can not find any that will fit a 2000 ranger. The only Warn hubs I can find for a Ranger stop at 1998. Any Help?
