I have a 77 F350 that is is need of speakers. they are completely blown and i need to know the size of the speakers so i can purchase new ones. thankyou!
2 Phillips screws in the cup (the part where you put your fingers to pull the door shut)
1 Phillip screw on the open lever with plastic dust cover on inside of door panel.
1 Phillip screw on the window crank with thin plastic washer.
Coil spring under panel for window, and when they are off great time to lube window track/regulator/door latch hdwr.
Start on a lower corner, if you have plastic button clips I would hack saw blade them and replace from parts store, if metal 2 leg spring, grab with long handle needle nose and be careful!
Make sure your outer glass seal is good other wise all the work and money could be wasted.
Good maintainence tips 77&79250. I would also make a cone out of an old plastic bleach bottle to put in behind the speaker, it helps keep rain and whatever off the magnets and speaker cones. I beleive there was a thread on this in the tips & ideas thread. John
77&79 hehehe as usual we are all a dollar short and a day lateat times. If I had a $ for every time I found out how to do something either easier or better AFTER I had done it I would have enough cash to buy a fleet of 73-79s!!! John
