You don't want to unplug your O2 sensor, period. It will screw things up. It is part of the ECU sensing system. It isn't one of the *bad* emission control things that will make your truck *slower*. Cheers,
Yes you should change it. If you unplug it it wont run bad, runs ok I didn't notice muhc of a change but it makes your engine run really rich.

Well you probably have 2 maybe 3 since your truck is OBD II. Replace them all if you can afford it. They are about $50 each. They are easy to spot...they have 3-4 wires running to a sensor that is about 3-4" long in your exhaust system.
