bench to buckets

Looking to purchase a used Expedition and having a hard time finding one with buckets in the 2nd row. I was wondering if I bought one with a bench could I replace it with buckets?

There are a few that have done this but the seats are not always easy to find. Lots of Navigators have the 4 bucket seats. You might want to look for a Navigator to start with as most bone yards think that stuff is pure gold and if they don't get top dollar they let the seats go to hell out in the weather.

I went from buckets to a 40/20/40 split bench in my 2003. You can definitely go the other direction, bench to buckets, but you'll have holes in the carpet. You could actually just take out the center seat and essentially have buckets, the only difference is there aren't arm rests. Again, this applies to 2003-2006 model years.

I did this but have since reinstalled original middle seats for extra seat (3 v/s 2).
Seats are from 2000 - tan leather.

If you're anywhere near Greater Hartford, CT, you can have them cheap/pickup.
