I won't pay for custom, I'll make them myself
Gonna plate the usual, xfr case, front diff, gas tank.
Never had issue with "grass fires" or "impacted mud" the usual scare tales, with past trucks. Keep the dang truck clean underneath and you are good.
What have you used? I have three sheets 1/16 in stainless to play with. Just worried it might be light but it's probably not.
Thoughts?

1/16"? Why bother? If you plan on actually taking it off road with rocks you need at least 3/16" boiler plate. Otherwise you are going to run over a boulder and smash your 1/16" plate and the diff cover and maybe end up with a pile of gear oil on the trail.
