well to start off ive got a 99 f250 2wd superduty 5.4 manual
it was wet out today plus me not having a pad on my clutch pedal made my foot slip off while shifting on the way home today. anyway the force of the pedal coming up that fast broke the little plastic clip that secures the clutch pedal arm to the push rod going to the mc.
i cannot for the life of me find a replacement, i havnt checked with ford yet since its late but autozone, oreillys and napa all come up a no for this part....anyone know where i can get one.
i figure i might be able to go through rock auto but this is my dd and i hope i can get it tomorrow?
oh, and of course i do work at a parts store but they dont have a catalog online i can look at from home here. just praying they have it if not would the ford stealership have it? and would it be like $20 from them for a little plastic piece?
Since we are on the subject of the plastic bushing, I noticed on mine the bracket the bushing mounts to is worn. I have the new bracket but I am not sure how to Spline the bracket to mount, any ideas or suggestions?
